WE HELD THE SEMINAR "BASIC SECURITY TRAINING IN AIRPORTS" ON THE SECOND DAY OF THE CAREER DAYS IN AVIATION
Gazipaşa Aeronautics and Astronautics Faculty hosted a seminar on "Basic Security Training at Airports" within the scope of "Career Days in Aviation" events on May 21, 2024. The event was moderated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Meltem Akca.
Chief Police Ali Rıza Bilici and TAV Academy Trainer Security Chief Mehmet İlkyaz took part in the event as trainers on security at airports. Guest speakers presented detailed information about the historical development of the aviation industry, security processes at airports and the technologies used in the security systems.
The speakers gave important advice to the students about career opportunities in the sector and the required competencies in this field. Moreover, speakers emphasized the importance of the current developments and innovations in the sector. The event provided students with significant perspective on the industry and the opportunity to communicate one-on-one with industry professionals.
