RECTOR PAYS CONSULTATIVE VISIT TO GAZİPAŞA FOR UNIVERSITY INVESTMENTS
Alanya Alaaddin Keykubat University Rector Kenan Ahmet Türkdoğan paid a visit to Gazipaşa to hold consultations regarding the university investments planned for the district.
The visit was accompanied by Vice Rector Işık Bayraktar, Dean of the Faculty of Aeronautics and Astronautics Atılgan Atılgan, and Director of Gazipaşa Mustafa Rahmi Büyükballı Vocational School Mehmet Kahyaoğlu. As part of the program, Rector Türkdoğan first visited the Gazipaşa Municipality.
During the meeting with Deputy Mayor Kerim Çetin and the Deputy Mayors, Rector Türkdoğan expressed his appreciation for the support provided to the university by the Gazipaşa Municipality.
Following the municipal visit, Rector Türkdoğan proceeded to the Justice and Development Party Gazipaşa District Organization, where he met with District Chairman Ramis Yiğit. During the meeting, consultations were held on the projects planned to be carried out in Gazipaşa on behalf of the university through state resources and the contributions of philanthropists, and gratitude was expressed for the support extended.
After completing the visits, Rector Türkdoğan stated that he was pleased with Gazipaşa’s strong support for education and thanked all local stakeholders—especially philanthropic citizens—for their contributions. He emphasized that the support provided to date for strengthening the university’s physical infrastructure and enhancing its education and research capacity is extremely valuable.
Noting that the new infrastructure investments and real estate allocations planned within the university in the coming period will make significant contributions to Gazipaşa’s academic and social development, Rector Türkdoğan underlined the importance of the continued support of philanthropists and local administrative authorities.
Finally, Rector Türkdoğan stated that the university is not only an educational institution but also a key driver of local development, adding that every step taken in favor of the university in Gazipaşa represents an investment in the district’s future. He concluded that, through cooperation and a shared vision, it is possible to establish a strong and sustainable university structure in Gazipaşa.
