The share of the aviation sector in Turkey's transportation investments is increasing day by day. The enormous projects of the aviation industry actors in our country attract the attention of the whole world and aim to make our country, which is located at a strategic crossing point of the world flight networks, an important aviation center due to its geopolitical location. In addition, the breakthroughs in astronautics and technologies in recent years aim to carry our country to a strong point that has a voice in the field of space sciences around the world. Along with the strategic policies regarding the aviation sector, our country continues its investments to become a regional leader in Aeronautics and Astronautics education, as well as its vision of becoming an aviation center in its region. Together with the developments in the aviation sector in our country, the growth signals for the coming years show that the traffic numbers will continue to increase.
In this context, it is necessary to plan a qualified workforce along with infrastructure and superstructure investments that can respond to expected traffic increases. With the development of the aviation sector, providing the required employment in the sector is the most important task of the faculties providing education on aviation. For this reason, our faculty undertakes a major mission to train a qualified workforce that can respond to the demands of the aviation industry in our country, with its dynamic academic staff and training program prepared according to the current literature.
To provide up-to-date aviation education to our esteemed students who prefer our faculty, to contribute to the development of our students as individuals who adhere to ethical values, have a high sense of social responsibility, and are sensitive to the environment, to increase the recognition of our faculty and to enrich cultural interactions with international exchange programs, to ensure that Alanya and Gazipaşa become an important center in aviation education, to be sustainable by establishing strong dialogues with aviation sector representatives and government institutions are the basic policies of our founding philosophy.
