It is very important for the aviation industry, which has no room for mistakes, to carry out more effective and productive studies in the aviation industry, which is gaining momentum, and to employ graduates who are competent in aviation both internationally and nationally.

For this reason, the Aviation Management Department within the Aeronautics and Astronautics Faculty Faculty is a program created to train qualified human resources needed by the public and private sectors in the field of aviation. Graduates are equipped with an understanding of education in line with this purpose. The Aviation Management Department is a program created to train the qualified human resources needed by the state and private sectors in the field of aviation.  Graduates are trained to take part in both management and other business functions of airlines, airports, ground handling companies.

Various aviation specialization courses are also included in the training curriculum in order to ensure that the graduates have knowledge on the basic subjects of aviation and some areas that require expertise, as well as their management education. Graduates of Aviation Management department are able to analyze the structure of the aviation system and its relations with other sectors, have a good command of national / international regulations and practices related to the aviation sector, fully equipped with the aviation infrastructure as well as the management / business knowledge required by the managerial position, leadership, creativity, communication, group work and problem-solving skills, have the opportunity to get to know the business world closely by constantly interacting with relevant sector organizations during their education, can use information technologies at the best level, have foreign language knowledge that can comprehend international standards and successfully apply them, are open to life-long learning and constantly feel themselves that take a place in the aviation industry as renewing staff. In the civil aviation sector, which has become a sector that is gaining more and more importance day by day, the aviation management department is very  significant in order to make the management in the most perfect way.
